Remittance services commenced in 2004, with the first Forex World money transfer processed on 1 July that year. More than two decades later, Forex World remains Australian family-owned and operated, combining personal service with established banking relationships, modern remittance technology, and a strong commitment to its regulatory and AML/CTF responsibilities.
We are an Australian family business, with our own roots firmly planted in the Philippines. That's why, to us, a transfer has never been just a number. Behind every transfer is someone working, saving, and making sure the people they love are looked after.

Forex World's story in Australia is part of a longer family and business journey. Forex Australia was founded in 1997, Forex World was established in 2003, and remittance services commenced in 2004.
Those Australian roots were themselves connected to the broader Forex story that began in the United States in 1983.

Forex Begins
Forex begins operations in Washington DC with a two-person office, soon recognised as the first non-bank entity by the Central Bank of the Philippines.

Forex Australia Founded
Started from the ground up by Enrique Campos and his parents, phones and bookings run out of one small family office.

Forex World established in Australia as its own entity, building on the family's cargo heritage since 1997.

Customers increasingly asked to send money as well as boxes, leading to Forex World's first remittance transfer on 1 July.

Forex World was established in 2003 by Enrique Campos and Enrique Campos Jr, building on the Campos family's Australian business experience since 1997. Both remain Directors today, with Enrique Jr also serving as Compliance Officer.

By 2009, Sydney's phones were ringing faster than seven people could answer them. Rather than let service slip, Forex built a dedicated Philippines-based customer service team almost overnight, connected directly back to Australia, and it has been part of the family ever since.
Two locations, one team. Sydney has handled transfers, enquiries and compliance since 2004. Ortigas, Metro Manila has provided local coordination and support since 2009. Different time zones, different desks, the same shared purpose: making sure the phone is always answered properly.
