How/Where to purchase Forex BDO Cash Card?
You may purchase a Forex BDO Cash Card for your beneficiary/ies thru Forex. Simply give us a call and ask for a " Cash Card Opening". After getting the proper information from you, we do the rest! Simple as that.
Is there a need for my beneficiary to open a BDO account in order to fund and use the BDO Cash Card as an ATM card?
There is NO need for your beneficiary to open a BDO account to fund. Simply use the Forex BDO Cash Card as an ATM card.
How will my purchased Forex BDO Cash Card reach my beneficiary/ies?
It will be delivered to your beneficiary/ies by Courier. Another option would be for your beneficiary to pick up the Forex BDO Cash Card from the closest BDO branch (you must let us know if you opt for this). We can also deliver it to you in Australia.
What are the Valid IDs that should be presented by my beneficiary/ies to claim their Forex BDO Cash Card?

How will my beneficiary use the cash card as an ATM and debit card?
Upon receipt of the cash card, your beneficiary should proceed to any BDO ATM machine and encode a 6 digit PIN on the cash card. After PIN encoding, the cash card can already be used as an ATM card and debit card.
Emphasize to your beneficiary/ies that the MPIN found on the starter kit is NOT the ATM PIN. The MPIN is a 4 digit PIN used on your beneficiary/ies’ mobile transactions. The ATM PIN, on the other hand, is a 6 digit PIN encoded through BDO ATMs.
Is there a way for my beneficiary/ies to inquire the balance available on the cash card? How?
Yes. The available balance of their cash cards can be inquired through the following ways:
BDO, Expressnet, Megalink and Bancnet ATMs
- Use the cash card on any ATMs mentioned and select the Balance Inquiry option
Mobile Phones
- Text BAL(space)Mobile PIN and send to 2315
“EPS” (Express Payment System Terminal) in accredited merchants
- Just tell the cashier that you would like to inquire about your balance and key-in your 6 digit PIN.
How much is the maximum amount that can be loaded to the Forex BDO Cash Card?
Php 100,000.00
How much is the maximum amount that can be used for purchases made on SM Department Store, SM Supermarket, SM affiliated stores, and “EPS” (Express Payment System Terminal) equipped stores?
The maximum amount is the available amount in your cash card
How much is the maximum amount that can be used for airtime reloading (Globe mobile phones)?
You may reload on specific denominations: P100, P200, P300, P500, P1,000. The maximum amount that you can reload would depend on the available balance of your cash card.
What will happen if my card is not used for a year?
You will be charged Php 25.00 per month as dormancy fee which will be debited from your cash card account.
How will I reactivate my BDO Cash Card if it’s not used for a year?
You may reload your BDO Cash Card to reactivate your card.
What should my beneficiary do in case his/her card is lost/stolen or damaged?
Your beneficiary may call BDO Call Center to report what happened to their cash card.
